Our manufacturers →Why it matters
Florida's building code is the strictest in the country — and impact-rated windows are how you meet it without bolting shutters to the house twice a year. Done right, they also cut your insurance, quiet the house, and pass inspection. Done wrong, they fail the county and leak at the first wind-driven rain. Here's where it usually goes wrong:
Every watch and warning means another weekend hauling and bolting panels — and a dark house once they're up.
"There has to be a better way than this."Non-rated windows leave the wind-mitigation credit on the table — money off your policy you never claim.
"Why am I paying full wind premium?"A crew that doesn't know the code gets sent back by the county — twice — and your project stalls for weeks.
"They didn't know what the inspector wanted."It looks finished until the first storm drives rain straight through an un-sealed frame and into the wall.
"It only leaked when the wind blew."Our approach
Nineteen years installing impact windows in South Florida means we know what the inspector is looking for before they arrive — and we build to it.
Every window we install comes with a documented Florida Product Approval — and a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) where the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone in Broward and Miami-Dade requires one. We don't say "impact-rated" and leave it there; we cite the approval number for each product, right on your quote.
We engineer to the design pressures of your elevation — a second-story window facing the Intracoastal is not the same spec as a protected interior courtyard. We detail the buck and water-infiltration sealing, and we water-test every opening before we call it done. And the crew on your house is ours — W-2 employees who install our products every day, not day labor pulled for the week.

Insurance savings
For most South Florida homeowners, impact-rated windows trigger a wind-mitigation credit worth roughly 15–40% off the wind portion of your insurance premium. We hand you the signed OIR-1802 wind-mitigation form your carrier needs to apply it — you don't have to chase it down.
