Install considerations
Lead time: ES Windows custom-manufactures every product. Typical lead time is 6–10 weeks for standard configurations, slightly longer for large-format sliding doors and glass garage doors. Install on-site is 1–3 days for standard openings, 2 days for glass garage doors, 2–3 days for 40′ large-format sliders.
Finish samples: Anodized bronze, black, white, and custom powder-coat options. For HOA communities, we provide samples in advance of HOA submittal.
Engineering review: For unusual large-format openings or unsupported spans, ES Windows engineering review may be required on the quote. We coordinate this directly — you do not need to interface with the manufacturer.
Insurance documentation: Every ES Windows install includes the OIR-1802 wind mitigation form your insurance carrier needs to apply your 15–40% wind portion premium credit.
