About Access Impact
A Florida-licensed general contractor, family-operated, with 2,000+ installs and a thorough final inspection. We started in 2007 with a pickup truck and a license. We’re still privately held, still in-house, still answering our own phones.
Our Story
Access Doors & Windows Inc. — doing business as Access Impact — was founded in 2007 by a Florida-licensed contractor with a pickup truck, a set of tools, and a Florida General Contractor license. No franchise. No private equity. No marketing budget.
For the first decade, every job came from a referral. That’s still where most of our business comes from, even though we now operate two offices and run dedicated crews. We chose to grow slowly because the alternative — growing fast by hiring day-labor subs — produces the inspection-failure and warranty-callback rate Florida customers learn to expect from impact-window installers.
Today we install impact-rated windows, impact-rated doors, and modern glass garage doors across Palm Beach, Broward, Martin, St. Lucie, Lee, and Collier counties — with the same in-house crews, the same first-time inspection-pass standard, and the same Florida Product Approval citation on every quote that we’ve carried since day one.
Timeline
Pickup truck, tool bag, and a Florida General Contractor license. First jobs in Palm Beach County referred by neighbors and local builders.
Repeat-and-referral business funds the first dedicated crews. Move from window-replacement-only to full impact-rated window + door installation.
Begin specializing in modern impact-rated glass garage doors — a category most Florida installers don’t touch because the install precision required exceeds standard garage-door work.
Expand to Southwest Florida with a dedicated Lee County office. Same in-house crews, same standards, just serving the Gulf coast.
Carry both CGC1525402 (General Contractor) and CCC1337755 (Roofing Contractor) credentials — backing every install with verified weather-seal expertise on flashing and waterproofing details.
The 19-year-old Access Doors & Windows brand evolves into Access Impact to reflect the company we’ve become: an impact-systems installer for distinctive Florida homes.
Credentials
Florida law requires impact-rated installations to be code-certified. We go further — citing every product approval number on every quote, before you sign.
Florida Certified General Contractor license. Verified on the FL DBPR registry and BBB. Pulled on every permit we file.
Secondary Florida Roofing Contractor license — strengthens our flashing and weather-seal expertise on every impact-window and door install.
Every Access install passes municipal inspection on the first visit. No re-inspections. No insurance certificate delays.
Real work, real homes

Across South FloridaHow we work
Your installer is on payroll, not day-labor. CGC1525402 stands behind every install. The crew at your home is named in our weekly schedule meeting.
Each product on your quote cites its FL Product Approval (FL-#####-R#) or Miami-Dade NOA number. You know exactly what’s going into your home.
We pull every permit, coordinate every inspection, and own the relationship with your municipality until the work passes. You don’t talk to the building department.
Every install ships with the OIR-1802 wind mitigation form your insurance carrier needs to apply your 15-40% premium discount.
