Context
Architectural impact windows are the right choice when a standard rectangular window won't deliver the elevation you're after — a round-top above a run of standard windows, a half-circle transom over the entry, arched configurations on Mediterranean and Spanish Revival homes, or full geometric shapes for contemporary designs.
Every shape is impact-rated, carries a Florida Product Approval, and is made to your opening. Architectural units are typically fixed for structural and sealing reasons — we commonly set them above operable casements or single-hungs so the wall still ventilates, or alongside a picture window for an unbroken glass feature.

Install considerations
Where architectural impact windows installs go wrong — and how we get them right every time.
A shaped opening is only as accurate as its template. We field-template arches and radius heads before ordering so the unit drops in true.
Curved and shaped laminated glass is heavier and less forgiving. Our crews handle and set it so the corners carry no stress.
Water management on an arched or round head takes a different flashing detail than a square window. We detail it to keep the wall dry.
Access Impact installs as a licensed Florida general contractor (CGC1525402). Every window and door we set is impact-rated to the Florida Building Code and carries a current Florida Product Approval — and, where your county requires it, a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance. We pull the permit, cite the product approval on your written quote, and back it with a 100% first-time inspection pass rate.
