Storm-damaged roof? We inspect it, document it and replace it.

When wind lifts shingles or cracks tile and the roof is near the end of its life, replacing it is usually the better fix. The inspection is free: we photograph the damage for your file, put the replacement in writing, and our own crew does the work under our roofing license.

Replace after a storm?

When a storm-damaged roof needs replacing.

Replacement usually makes sense when

  • The damage is spread across the roof, not in one spot
  • The roof was already near the end of its life
  • The deck underneath needs work too

What we don't do

  • We don't negotiate claims; a licensed public adjuster or attorney can do that for you
  • Our roofing work is full replacement, not patch repairs

From estimate to final inspection

Six steps, from the free inspection to final sign-off.

  1. Free inspection, with photos

We inspect the roof and photograph the storm damage for your file.

  2. Written estimate

The replacement in writing: scope, materials and roof system.

  3. Adjuster visit, if you'd like

We meet your adjuster at the roof to show the damage we documented. Your insurance company decides what is covered. We don't negotiate claims; a licensed public adjuster or attorney can do that for you.

  4. We pull the permit

Filed under our roofing license, CCC1337755.

  5. Tear-off and new roof

Our own crew strips the old roof to the deck, lays new underlayment and installs the new roof.

  6. Final inspection

We meet the inspector and close out the permit. Backed by our permit-passing guarantee.

Can you help with my roof insurance claim?

We can do the roofing side of it. We inspect and photograph the damage, write up a replacement estimate, and if you'd like, we meet your adjuster at the roof to show what we found. Your insurance company decides what is covered. We don't negotiate claims; a licensed public adjuster or attorney can do that for you.

Do I need a whole new roof after a storm?

Not always. It depends on how old the roof is, how much of it the storm damaged, and the state of the deck underneath. Damage across an older roof usually points to a replacement, which is the work we do. The free inspection tells you, in writing, what we found and what we'd recommend.

What should I do right after a storm?

Stay off the roof. Photograph any damage you can see from the ground and any new stains inside, keep receipts for anything you do to stop a leak, and check your insurer's deadlines for reporting a claim. Then call either office for the free roof inspection; we photograph the roof itself.

How soon after a storm should I call?

As soon as you notice damage or a new leak, so the inspection photos show the roof as the storm left it. Your insurance policy sets its own deadlines for reporting a claim, so check those with your insurer. Call (561) 283-2777 for Palm Beach and Broward, or (239) 296-5996 for Lee and Collier.

Does the new roof have to match the old one?

No. A storm-damage replacement can be any of the four systems we install: metal, concrete or clay tile, asphalt shingle, or flat and low-slope. Some homeowners use the replacement to change the look. What your house and your association allow is part of the inspection, and the system you pick goes on the written estimate.

Who pulls the permit after storm damage?

We do. The permit is filed under our roofing license, CCC1337755, our own crew does the tear-off and the new roof, and we meet the inspector at the end to close it out, with permit passing guaranteed. The same crews cover all four counties, from our Deerfield Beach and Fort Myers offices.
