He measured the openings and I picked the impact window that I wanted right after viewing the different designs, manufacturers and prices. … The company also handled everything from homeowner’s association approval to city permit and final inspection which passed on the first attempt.

New arched windows on one of our jobs

Used Access Doors and Windows Inc to install … windows in my house in Boca Raton. Top of the line contractor, who cares about his reputation. On time, fair pricing and left the job site clean.

These guys did a great job installing impact windows at my mother’s home in Boca!

Nickolas Villamar · Google review, February 2024

After the windows were installed, the house is now very quiet, and the tint keeps it cooler.

Window styles

Make sure every quote names the same styles.

If one quote says single-hung and another says horizontal roller for the same opening, you're not comparing like for like. The five we install: single-hung, horizontal roller, casement, picture and architectural, from CWS and ES Windows. How each one opens: impact window installation.

How much does impact window replacement cost in Boca Raton?

We don't publish a price list, because the number depends on your house: how many openings, their sizes, the styles you choose, the glass, and the condition of each opening once the old window comes out. The estimate is free and done in your home, and the quote comes in writing with every window listed by its Florida Product Approval number, so you can compare it line by line with other quotes.

How do I compare impact window quotes?

Line by line. Check that each quote lists every window with its approval number, that it was measured in your home, that the permit and final inspection are included, who actually does the install, and how long the job will take from contract to install day. The quote check at the top of this page covers the same points.

Can I replace just a few windows?

Yes. We measure and quote whatever you want done now, from a few openings to the whole house, and you can add the rest later. Each window is its own line on the quote, so if you are comparing bids it is easy to see what a smaller first phase costs against the whole house.

Do I need impact windows, or are shutters enough?

Compare like for like: impact glass is in place all the time, while hurricane shutters have to be put up before each storm. At the free in-home measure we go through every opening on your Boca Raton home and tell you what the job needs. The permit office has the final say on what's required for your house.

How long does it take?

Plan on 10 to 12 weeks from signed contract to install day. During that time we pull the permit and your windows are ordered to your measurements. How long install day takes depends on the size of the job, and it's done by our own crew.

Which window brands do you install?

CWS and ES Windows. When you compare, check that every quote names the manufacturer and the approval number for each window. Ours does, one line per window, in single-hung, horizontal roller, casement, picture and architectural styles, so you are comparing the same product line by line.

Who handles the permit and inspection?

We do, and it belongs on every quote you compare. We pull the permit, schedule and meet the inspector, and close it out after final inspection; permit passing is guaranteed. If another quote leaves the permit to you, that is paperwork and inspection risk you would be taking on yourself.
